Job SummaryThis position is responsible for developing and maintaining the sales strategy for Saudi Arabia. It also drives all commercial pursuits in the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple teams and adapting department plans and setting departmental priorities and allocating resources to align with business objectives and annual plan.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Support Process and Procedures
Develops a close relationship with other functions (Engineering, Product Management, DLS, etc.) to ensure that changes to the organization are recognized and implemented.
Business Development and Sales StrategyResponsible for generating new commercial opportunities in currently served and unserved markets.
Collaboration and LeadershipCollaborates with senior executives to develop future growth plans for the organization.
Mid/Long-term PlanningBuild, implement and own mid/long-term planning cycle process within HMH.
Go-to-Market StrategiesWork closely with all stakeholders within HMH, including Product Management, Engineering, and the Sales Group among others, to develop go-to-market strategies for all HMH products and services.
Business Case DevelopmentSupports regional teams in the creation of business cases as needed.
Process and Strategy ImplementationManages and reviews the progress of process and strategy (key initiatives, projects, etc.) implementation across the entire organization.
Business RelationshipsEstablishes and maintains beneficial business relationships with senior leaders internal/external organizations.
Industry PresenceEnsures HMH has an active industry presence within Saudi Arabia.
Sales LeadershipManages all existing accounts and opportunities in Saudi.
Sales Team DevelopmentResponsible for building, managing and developing the sales team, in accordance with regional strategies and KPIs.
Sales BudgetOwns the country's Sales budget (total costs).
Sales ForecastingProvides input to develop the sales forecasts.
Business PlanningOwns the country's forecast and operating rhythm, aligning sales team opportunities with HMH capacity and capability (providing input for IBP, Business reviews, etc.).
Performance ReportingCommunicates the performance and progress to senior leadership through periodic status reports and presentations.
Leadership and AccountabilityProvides leadership to managers and professional staff.
Team PerformanceIs accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams.
Departmental PlanningDevelops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities.
Resource AllocationDecisions are guided by resource availability and organizational objectives.

Requirements- Education
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline from an accredited college or university.
ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in a sales / technical / commercial role or in Operations role.
Industry KnowledgeProven experience in a Technical / Commercial Operations role, within the Oil & Gas industry.
Market KnowledgeExtensive knowledge of both land and offshore drilling markets required.
TravelTravel is required.
