About the Position

This Taxation and Zakat Consultant position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in Islamic finance and taxation to contribute to the development of our research agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop Research Plan: Collaborate with senior management to develop the Zakat research plan and budget, ensuring alignment with ZATCA priorities.
  2. Review Research Requests: Consolidate and review public and committee research requests, prioritizing them based on urgency and complexity.
  3. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Apply communication methods to ensure optimal workflows between research personnel and key stakeholders.
  4. Conduct Applied Research: Conduct applied research and analysis in selected domains, performing specific legal accounting studies related to Zakat calculations.
  5. Present Study Findings: Develop reports highlighting study findings to be presented to key stakeholders.
  6. Represent the Agency: Represent the agency in business meetings with other authority sectors or government agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Islamic law, Business Administration, or equivalent required.
  • Master's degree in Law, Islamic law, Business Administration, or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
