About the Role
The Gulf Monetary Council is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Legal Researcher to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the legal function of the organization and providing counsel and legal advice on various activities conducted by the Council.

Main Responsibilities:
This role involves conducing legal advice and assistance required by the Council on a wide range of legal issues, including advising the Board and the President on all legal and risk issues relating to the Council. The successful candidate will also review and draft contracts, agreements, and arrangements, and ensure that general commercial agreements entered by the Council are consistent with its statutory tasks and objectives.

Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent legal qualification, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience practicing law. They should also possess excellent computer skills and knowledge of financial services laws and related practices, particularly prudential regulation of banks in the GCC region.
