Theme Park Activation Leader

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned expert in event management, with a proven track record of success in planning and executing a wide range of events, including Seasons, Celebrations, MICE, and other activations.

As the Head of Events at Six Flags Theme Park & Water Theme Park, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of event management and activation execution, ensuring that our destinations are recognized for safety, quality of execution, and state-of-the-art experience offered at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their event requirements and objectives.
  • Work jointly with the Concept & Programming strategy team to deliver concepts and experiences.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, transportation, accommodations, and on-site staffing.
  • Manage allocated event budgets and ensure efficient utilization of allocated funds.
  • Optimize commercial proposals by upselling and driving incremental revenue while ensuring a state-of-the-art guest experience and satisfaction.
RequirementsEducation:
  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
  • Proven experience (9+ years) in planning and executing a wide range of events, MICE preferably in a leadership role.
Skills:
  • Access, Microsoft Excel/Word Programs.
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
  • Proven expertise and experience working for IP Holders, Events.
