Responsibilities

  • Innovative Design and Development: Lead the design and development of captivating rides and attractions that align with Qiddiya's overall vision and strategic goals.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, engineering, and operations, to create immersive and safe visitor experiences.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and feasibility studies to assess trends, guest preferences, and competitive offerings.
  • Project Management: Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient resource allocation throughout the development process.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders involved in the design, construction, and operation of rides and attractions.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in rides and attractions development.
  • Documentation and Communication: Oversee project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Industry Knowledge and Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by staying current on industry trends and advancements in ride technologies.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present project updates and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Leisure Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in the development of rides and attractions, theme parks, or entertainment venues.
    • Strong portfolio of successful projects showcasing innovative development and execution of rides and attractions.
    • Thorough understanding of safety regulations, industry standards, and technical requirements related to rides and attractions.
    • Exceptional project management skills, with proven expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying ideas and strategies.
    • A passion for creating memorable and engaging experiences in the theme park or leisure industry.
