Key Responsibilities

  • Source and Manage Suppliers: Source new suppliers as per QMS guidelines of global LE, and manage existing suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost competitiveness.
  • Cost Reduction and Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement, and implement initiatives to achieve these goals.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring adherence to QMS and contract sign-off.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including technical teams, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, with over 10 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • Skills and Competencies: Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills, high level of technical knowledge in electrical materials and local suppliers, experience in vendor development and resourcing supplies, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Teamwork and accountability, ability to work with people from different nationalities, flexible approach to dynamic situations, amicable personality to build long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders, self-starter with initiative for additional responsibilities and challenges, and high level of integrity to comply with Lucy procurement standards.
