Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Specialist, Quality Assurance to join our team at KBR. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the project management system, ensuring compliance with corporate procedures and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the project management system, adopting corporate KBR procedures and client-specific procedures.
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Plan to ensure all relevant aspects of quality and ISO 9001 are adequately identified and controlled.
  • Develop and implement an audit schedule to ensure compliance across the project, including contractors and major subcontractors.
  • Understand engineering in the Pre-Feed, Feed, and Detailed Engineering phases of a project.
  • Prepare Quality QPIs and track them on an ongoing basis.
  • Conduct ISO 9001:2008 management reviews to ensure the effectiveness of the project management system.
  • Carry out and/or lead internal and external audits.
  • Provide quality training to project personnel.
  • Participate in procurement and subcontracting processes to ensure quality requirements are specified.
  • Encourage and facilitate quality improvements, lessons learned, and customer feedback.
  • Manage and coordinate contractors' and major subcontractors' QC and inspection activities.
  • Produce reports on quality activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in large engineering projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Experience in certification process, implementation, and compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
  • Track record of QA/QC, organization, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
  • Previous record of developing productive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Proficient use of Word and Excel.
