BDP International is seeking a highly skilled Air Freight Commercial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for growing a profitable portfolio of customers and identifying business opportunities for improved growth.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement commercial plans and campaigns to take advantage of market opportunities.
  2. Prepare annual budgets and monthly management reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand opportunities for creating value.
  4. Manage customer relationships, identifying opportunities for new contracts and facilitating cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue.
  5. Analyze data and create reports to identify areas of business growth and inform business decisions.
  6. Bid on new projects and negotiate contract terms to secure new business.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred (or an equivalent combination of work and education).
  2. Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in Air Freight, with a proven track record of success in sales and marketing.
  3. Knowledgeable in Microsoft applications and able to analyze data to inform business decisions.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships and negotiate contracts.
