A highly skilled and experienced PMO Director is required to establish and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) within a large healthcare organization. This role involves overseeing project governance, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, and promoting best practices in project management to enhance the delivery of healthcare initiatives.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement the PMO framework, policies, and procedures to standardize project management practices across the organization.
  • Define project governance structures, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability.
  • Oversee the organization's project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and prioritization of initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, performance, and resource allocation to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align project goals with organizational strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify and assess project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Facilitate regular risk assessments and status updates to ensure proactive management.
  • Lead and mentor project managers and project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support to enhance project management capabilities within the organization.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and PMO effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of project performance, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and dashboards to executive leadership and stakeholders.
