We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in promoting a positive workplace culture and resolving complex employee relations issues. Key Responsibilities:- Employee Consultation: Provide expert guidance and consultation to employees and management on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies.
- Conflict Resolution: Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, conducting thorough investigations and delivering solutions that align with company policies.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and update employee relations policies that meet the evolving needs of the organization and ensure legal compliance.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training sessions to enhance management understanding of employee relations issues and promote positive workplace practices.
- Data Analysis: Analyze employee relations trends and concerns, using insights to recommend improvements in management practices and employee engagement initiatives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with employees across all levels.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to develop creative solutions for complex issues.
- Knowledge of Employment Laws: In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trust and influence employees and management positively in conflict situations.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple employee relations cases efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP is advantageous.
- Proven experience in an employee relations or HR generalist role is beneficial.
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic corporate environment is a plus.
