About This Role

We seek a highly skilled Chief Sustainability Innovation Officer to drive sustainable practices throughout our diverse infrastructure programs. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in advancing sustainability initiatives and ensuring alignment with our objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies for various projects, integrating them into our program planning and execution processes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate environmental impacts, resource efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to embed sustainable practices into project planning and execution, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sustainability performance, including metrics on energy use, waste management, and carbon footprint, highlighting areas for enhancement.
  • Research and recommend innovative technologies and best practices to improve sustainability outcomes, staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert training and education on sustainability practices to project teams and stakeholders, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry organizations to stay current on sustainability trends and compliance requirements, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Design, or a related field, with a strong foundation in sustainable development principles.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability engineering or environmental management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of sustainable building practices and certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM), with a proven track record of implementing successful sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in sustainability reporting and data analysis tools, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines.
