Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical Guidance
    • Provide technical guidance and support to the MEP engineering team in the use of BIM tools and software.

  • Implement Quality Control Processes
    • Implement and maintain BIM quality control processes to ensure accuracy and consistency in MEP models.
    • Conduct regular audits of BIM models to verify compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders
    • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their BIM requirements and expectations.
    • Present BIM models and project updates to clients and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Lead and Mentor the Team
    • Mentor and train team members in BIM processes and tools.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the BIM team.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP design and BIM management, with a proven track record of managing BIM processes for large-scale building projects.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360) and MEP systems design and coordination.
    • Excellent understanding of MEP systems and their integration within building projects.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
