About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Pediatric Ophthalmology Consultant to join our team at Antal International. In this role, you will work closely with medical professionals to optimize patient care and drive training and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality Pediatric Ophthalmology care to patients, including consulting services as requested.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, including fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programs for residents and fellows.
  • Contribute to committee work and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Perform special procedures as privileged and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the implementation of best practices in ophthalmic services.
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A medical degree from a reputable institution.
  • Completed training in pediatric ophthalmology.
  • Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is mandatory.
  • Dataflow certification is also required.

Desirable Experience

  • At least 3-4 years of post-board/fellowship experience in pediatric ophthalmology.
  • Registration with the Saudi Board Council is necessary.

Language Proficiency

  • English language proficiency is essential; Arabic language skills may be advantageous.
