Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all activities in our organization are executed in accordance with the Integrated Management System requirements and assist in facilitating ongoing regulatory compliance with all applicable legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements and obligations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental planning, regulations, and compliance. They will provide leadership, mentoring, training, and coordination to Environmental Specialists and ensure the implementation of environmental regulation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, establish, and ensure effective and efficient implementation of Environmental regulations, procedures, and standards relating to zones activities.
- Provide technical guidance and services to support environmental programs and projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation plan and provide follow-up support to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead risk assessments and task reviews of key activities in the zones to identify and prevent probable environmental hazards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biological Science, or related field.
- 3-9 years of experience in environmental field with expertise in permitting, environmental regulatory compliance, assessment of environmental impact, site investigations, and field surveys.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people.
