Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Planner to join our team at KCM Recruitment. As a Senior Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects, and collaborating with project stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Schedule Development: Develop and agree project schedules with project stakeholders, track progress, and implement controls to ensure timely completion of projects.
  2. Planning and Scheduling Systems: Develop and implement planning and scheduling systems and approaches for projects, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
  3. Baseline Schedule Development: Develop and agree with project stakeholders the project baseline schedule, including the Baseline Schedule Notes.
  4. Man-Hour Expenditure and Progress Measurement: Develop and implement plans for man-hour expenditure and measuring progress achievement, including the baseline 'S' curves.
  5. Risk Analysis: Undertake risk analysis of project schedules.
  6. Schedule Updates: Update project schedules and man-hour reports in accordance with project procedures.
  7. Schedule Delay Identification: Identify and communicate to the Project Manager and Project Team areas of schedule delay.
  8. Schedule Remedies: Facilitate the project team in finding remedies to project delays.
  9. Schedule Workshops: Organize schedule workshops at critical phases of projects to develop an agreed workable detailed schedule.
  10. Schedule Integration: Ensure that all elements of the schedule are integrated and capable of being integrated with other project schedules.
  11. Critical and Near-Critical Paths: Identify and communicate the critical and near-critical paths for projects.
  12. Tender Packages: Ensure that tender packages adequately describe contractors' and consultants' requirements.
Requirements
  1. Experience: At least 15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
  2. Industry Experience: Major experience in Western countries with some experience in the Gulf region.
  3. Medical Experience: Medical experience would be highly beneficial.
  4. Qualifications: Degree qualified.
