Job Description:

The General Manager of Strategy will play a pivotal role within the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the Strategic Office for Developing Albaha Region. This position will ensure alignment with long-term objectives while driving innovation and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute the strategic vision and objectives in close collaboration with senior leadership. Conduct thorough market analyses to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Operational Oversight: Direct the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring they align seamlessly with organizational goals. Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness and drive performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Effectively communicate the progress and performance of strategic initiatives to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Innovation and Team Management: Propel innovation by identifying and adopting best practices and cutting-edge technologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agility within the organization. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic management, with a proven record of leadership excellence.
  • Education: Advanced degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or a related discipline.
  • Skills:
    • Strategic Planning: Ability to design and implement effective strategic plans that drive organizational success.
    • Analytical Acumen: Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with a focus on actionable insights.
    • Project Management: Strong skills in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
    • Negotiation: Expertise in negotiating with stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
    • Adaptability: Capacity to navigate and respond to dynamic market conditions and organizational changes.
