Golf Operations Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

Golf Oberealp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf Operations Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our golf carts and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of golf carts and equipment.
  • Record and track parts usage, order replacement products and parts, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Report any major damage or misuse of golf carts to management and take corrective action to prevent future incidents.
  • Maintain good communication levels with management and colleagues to ensure seamless operation of the maintenance team.
  • Provide weekly reports on maintenance operations, LPOs, and any outstanding issues.
  • Ensure all machinery is cleaned and respected by colleagues, and that the wash-bay is left clean and tidy.
  • Inspect, adjust, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in golf carts.
  • Maintain records of preventative maintenance, repairs made, and parts ordered.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge of golf carts and equipment, and help control costs and expenses in the maintenance of the fleet.

Requirements:

  • High school level education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Good command of English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of club cart and visage systems.
  • Knowledge of material safety data and identification of MEP spare parts.
  • Knowledge of Fire, Life, Health & Safety Systems.
  • Team player with good all-around skills and knowledge of daily operations.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 Kg.
