Parsons Oman is a leading provider of engineering and construction services, delivering complex projects across various sectors. We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our technical efforts on the South East Interconnector project.

Job Summary

The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards. This role will involve leading a team of engineers and technicians, developing and implementing engineering strategies, and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver the project on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership
    • Develop and implement engineering strategies and approaches to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
    • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver technical solutions and ensure project quality.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other delivery partners, to ensure project progress and delivery.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Engineering Management
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for engineering and design management.
    • Ensure consistency in the execution of supply chain design and construction in accordance with client technical requirements.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure project quality.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 15 years of experience in mega construction projects, preferably in a senior engineering or management role.
  • Skills
    • Proven experience in tunnels, shafts, and MEP within complex utility, rail, and civil engineering environments.
    • Working knowledge of local and international tunnelling standards.
    • Safety qualification or awareness training.
