Job Overview

The Director of Spa Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selects and manages vendors for spa retail operations, including contract agreements.
  • Oversees retail product research, selection, and purchasing, as well as product display.
  • Maintains supply inventories and controls purchasing, including uniforms.
  • Monitors spa sales to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the spa and related areas and equipment.
Managing Sales and Marketing Strategy

The Director of Spa Services creates and coordinates special services for groups, including group gifting programs, amenities, turndown gifts, letters, and invitations. They develop and manage spa promotions, such as gifting programs, gift with purchase, co-op marketing efforts, and holiday events.

Key Objectives:

  • To create unique and memorable experiences for guests.
  • To increase revenue through strategic marketing and sales initiatives.
  • To maintain a positive image of the spa within the local community.
Revenue Management and Controllable Expenses

The Director of Spa Services monitors and manages controllable expenses, such as guest amenities, linen expense, professional salon products, plants, decorations, and paper supplies, to achieve budgeted goals.
