Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team at a busy GP surgery in Colchester. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of clinical services, including child and adult immunisations, cervical cytology, spirometry, family planning, smoking cessation, and B12 and Depot injections.
  • Conduct ECG and BP checks, and provide health education and advice to patients.
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and healthcare assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with clinical updates, immunisations, and vaccinations, and maintain current NMC registration and CRB/DBS clearance.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a Practice Nurse.
  • Ability to work part-time, with a minimum of 2 days per week.
  • Flexibility to start ASAP.
