Director of Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to join our team at Asterix Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our engineering department, including the maintenance and organization of technical equipment.

1. Coordinate employee scheduling, including split shifts, to ensure optimal resource allocation.
2. Plan, execute, and control maintenance work of technical equipment, including HVAC systems, and dispose of hazardous materials.
3. Develop and manage budgets for energy usage, maintenance expenses, and new projects.
4. Schedule employees in accordance with company rules and regulations.
5. Ensure cleanliness and organization within all engineering outlets.
6. Coordinate with external companies for cost-effective solutions.
7. Manage waste and recycling programs.
8. Foster effective communication within the department and with the executive team.
9. Attend meetings and provide technical expertise.
10. Develop and maintain monthly statistics and administrative processes.
11. Supervise engineers and provide guidance and support.
12. Enforce company policies and regulations.
13. Provide training on fire and security procedures.
14. Maintain high-quality standards while optimizing costs.
15. Develop on-the-job training programs.
16. Assume MOD responsibilities during weekends and holidays.
17. Model leadership behavior and promote a positive work environment.
18. Collaborate with HR and Training Departments to implement training and performance evaluations.

Education: High School Diploma or College Degree in Hospitality

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in a deluxe hotel
