Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Cooks Home Assistance Care. As a key member of our dental laboratory, you will be responsible for designing and fabricating prosthodontics devices, crowns, and bridges using advanced techniques and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and fabricate fixed and removable prosthesis using accepted techniques and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a high standard of quality control on work produced in the assigned section of the dental laboratory.
  • Produce and design dental implant crowns and bridges for both fixed and removable restorations.
  • Use scanners and dental CAD CAM, dental design for crown and bridge, and dental implant.
  • Set teeth up for orthodontic model - using 3D data manipulation software.
  • Assist with the development of Orthodontic Laboratory Digital Services and with continuous improvements to existing services.
  • Provide training to DL staff, SCDP participants, internship students, and student trainees, as assigned.
  • Assist in introducing and evaluating new and state-of-the-art technology in DL field.
  • Consult with staff dentists regarding design and set-up or fittings of devices.
  • Assure adequate inventory of supplies and equipment, as necessary.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all work performed.
  • Assist other DL personnel as required and as directed by the DL manager.
  • Follow all Hospital related policies and procedures.
  • Participate in self and others' education, training, and development, as applicable.
Requirements
  • Master's, Bachelor's, or Associate Degree/Diploma in Dental Laboratory Technology is required.
  • Two (2) years of related experience with Master's, four (4) years with Bachelor's Degree, or six (6) years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.
  • Grade 09: Four (4) years as Dental Laboratory Technologist at KFSH&RC
  • Average of annual performance appraisal at least (3.5) for the last four (4) years.
  • One hundred (100) hours of cumulative continued medical education [CME].
  • Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
  • Fabricating all Dental Laboratory prosthesis with an expertise in at least (2) two sections of the Dental Laboratory is required.
  • Bilingual skills [English & Arabic] in verbal and written communications are required.
