About the Role

This senior consultant coverage engineer will serve as a technical resource guide to each Carrier client, covering all aspects of HVAC design building process from project concepts to detailed design stage for Chilled Water System.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water applied equipment and control solutions, and be able to analyze HVAC requirements, render technical guidance, conduct technical presentations, and perform technical feasibility studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to consultants and clients on HVAC systems selection, system analysis, and design.
  2. Relationship Management: Build and maintain excellent relationships with consultants, clients, and contractors to promote Carrier products and services.
  3. Market Feedback Analysis: Conduct market feedback analysis to assess effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. Design Specifications: Ensure design projects are specified with Carrier equipment/products and specifications to increase winning ratio and support margin improvement.
  5. Training and Development: Conduct HAP & Design suit training along with energy simulation, LEED trainings regularly and invite consultants/clients/contractors to attend these trainings.
  6. Reporting and Communication: Provide regular inputs to sales team from consultant activities about future projects.
  7. Customer Support: Respond to consultant and client inquiries promptly.
  8. Sales Team Support: Support sales team by facilitating consultant approvals by leveraging consultant relationships and value engineering, conducting technical presentations & attending technical discussion meetings.
  9. Ethics and Compliance: Follow Code of Ethics with regard to Customers, Employees, Shareholders, as well as carry out obligations and responsibilities as outlined in the Carrier Code of Ethics Policy.
