Job Title: Senior Local Content Specialist

Linked4HR Human Resources Consultancies LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Local Content Specialist to join our team in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

About the Role:

This is a key position that will lead the efforts aimed at achieving the company's localization mandate, establishing the local maritime ecosystem, and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Localization Strategies: Develop, implement, and update company's localization strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Supplier Attraction: Develop company's suppliers' attraction incentive package to attract reputed foreign suppliers to establish their manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia.
  • Localization Planning: Work with potential suppliers to develop and approve their localization plans and to monitor the implementation of suppliers approved localization plans to ensure the localization targets are achieved.
  • Collaboration: Cooperate with other local localization program associations to avoid overlapping while attracting suppliers.
  • Supplier Support: Assist suppliers in identifying local sources of raw materials as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 9-15 years of relevant experience in contract procurement role.
  • Certification: Certification in Contract Management or related field.
  • Skills: Good knowledge of Supplier Relation Management, Microsoft Office, and negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
