Localization Strategist

Linked4HR Human Resources Consultancies LLC is seeking a highly experienced Localization Strategist to be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Your future role:

You will lead the efforts aimed at achieving our company's localization mandate, establishing the local maritime ecosystem, maintaining and developing long-term relationships with suppliers. This role acts as the technical and commercial interface between suppliers and the organization.

• Develop and Implement Localization Strategies: You will develop, implement, and update our company's localization strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure successful supplier onboarding and retention.
• Supplier Attraction and Retention: You will develop an attractive incentive package to attract reputed foreign suppliers to establish their manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia, and work closely with potential suppliers to develop and approve their localization plans.
• Localization Plan Implementation: You will monitor the implementation of suppliers' approved localization plans to ensure the achievement of localization targets.
• Collaboration with Local Associations: You will cooperate with other local localization program associations to avoid overlapping while attracting suppliers.
• Raw Material Sourcing: You will assist suppliers in identifying local sources of raw materials as required.

• Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 9-15 years of relevant experience in contract procurement roles.
• Certification: Certification in Contract Management or a related field.
• Skills: Good knowledge of Supplier Relation Management, Microsoft Office, and strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $120,000 per annum, taking into account the location and industry standards.
