The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth and expansion into international markets and new business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the executive team to ensure swift deal execution and establish processes for financial transaction management.
  • Develop and monitor OKRs to track and improve the financial health of our funds and the company.
  • Prepare and produce periodic financial statements for each of our entities, including holding companies, property SPVs, and other required entities.
  • Manage the financing and cash flow cycles for each of our funds, including invoicing, collection, and reporting.
  • Set up payment templates in our online banking apps and arrange for necessary cheques and bank account management logistics.
  • Work with the executive team on financial reporting at the company level, including operational financing, and identify ways to optimize the financial health of the company.
  • Meet all regulatory requirements, including maintenance of the accounting policy and procedure manual, monthly review of bookkeeping schedules, and compliance with internal control procedures.
  • Assist and support internal and external auditors with reports and information requirements.
  • Develop and document processes to ensure the buildup of internal intellectual capital and the dissipation of knowledge across the organization.
  • Prepare and execute the payroll process for KSA employees.
Requirements
  • 4-5 years' experience in a finance role, such as an investment bank, asset management firm, or regulated financial institution, or in audit at a Big 4.
  • Expert knowledge of accounting processes, policies, and applicable IFRS and IAS rules.
  • Experience as a CMA-authorized Finance Officer or in a real estate-specific function is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMA regulatory laws and framework relating to CAT 3A, 3C, and 4 entities.
  • Familiarity with corporate laws.
  • Experience in financial budgeting, control, and management.
  • Technical background and high attention to detail are a must.
  • CA, CPA, and/or CFA qualification is required.
  • Experience in fund accounting and determination of NAVs is a plus.
  • Experience in overhead control management, preparation, and implementation of Internal Control framework is a must.
  • Ability to liaise with regulators, auditors, and legal experts on matters relating to finance, accounts, compliance, and audit.
  • Experience with VAT registration and submissions is a big plus.
  • Excellent command of Office and/or GSuite tools.
  • Good understanding of fintech, investment industry, financial markets, and global economics is a plus.
  • The ability to simplify complex problems and articulate them in writing is an absolute must.
