Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Install and maintain Ground Surveillance Radars at intermediate level.

  2. Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs) on Ground Surveillance Radars.

  3. Provide technical support to Radar sector and/or site personnel via phone.

  4. Support Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions and travel to remote Radar sites for specialized tasks.

  5. Implement modifications to Ground Surveillance Radar hardware and software as approved.

  6. Assist installation teams with Ground Surveillance Radar-related issues.

  7. Develop and deliver training on Ground Surveillance Radar maintenance.

  8. Stay informed about emerging Radar technologies.

  9. Review technical documents for compliance with requirements.

  10. Prepare technical documentation for presentation to personnel.

  11. Suggest viable solutions and contribute to Radar upgrades and enhancements.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A B.Sc. or higher degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering.
  • Specialized training and certification in each area of Radar expertise.
  • Experience working with Ground Surveillance Radars, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Radar engineering and maintenance.
