About the Role

The Revenue Audit Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data within SOFITEL. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile Financial Transactions: Reconcile revenue centers, rebates, paid outs, and miscellaneous charges to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
  • Conduct Audits: Conduct audits of financial data, including collecting and verifying paperwork from all revenue centers, and balancing work from Food & Beverage and other outlets.
  • Analyze Data: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and distribute regular reports on financial performance, including a Daily Business Report of the day's revenue.
  • Assist with Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end closing and subsequent analysis of bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts as directed by the Assistant Director of Finance.
  • Respond to Guest Inquiries: Respond to guest inquiries, including folio requests, credit card inquiries, and requests for information from other departments within the hotel.
  • Process Miscellaneous Charges: Process invoices for miscellaneous guest charges regularly.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, and at least 1-2 years experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Knowledge of Sun System, Opera, Micros, and Vision, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills.
