  • Management and Operations:

    • Continuously monitor and improve application operations processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Identify opportunities for automation to streamline tasks and reduce manual work.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest tools and technologies for application operations.
  • Metrics and Reporting:
    • Track and report on key application performance metrics (KPIs) such as uptime, response time, and error rates.
    • Generate reports that provide insights into application health and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 15+ years of experience in IT operations or related fields.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in application operations management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Strong understanding of application deployment, configuration management, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience working with various operating systems and application platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Agile or DevOps methodologies is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in managing IBM FileNet, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft IIS.
