About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment, providing expert care to patients requiring pain management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting with patients to assess their health and discuss suitable treatment options
- Preparing patients for procedures by explaining the process and potential risks or side effects
- Managing postoperative pain to aid patient recovery
- Resuscitating and stabilizing critically ill patients in an intensive care unit
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Performing administrative tasks such as drafting reports and patient summaries
- Training and supervising junior medical staff
- Staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments in pain management
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- A Masters degree or Doctorate in a relevant field, accompanied by a valid medical license
- Specialized training and registration as a Consultant Anesthetist
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in a related field
