About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering to lead our team of technicians. With 10 years of experience in civil and general maintenance, you will oversee the service, repair, and maintenance activities of civil and MEP works.

Your primary responsibilities will include supervising daily general maintenance work orders, coordinating with Maintenance Planning for scheduling and implementation of required repair and maintenance works, and providing on-the-job supervision to technicians.

As a seasoned expert, you will also be responsible for carrying out inspections at sites to monitor work progress and completions, troubleshooting problems on a day-to-day basis, and handling administrative issues related to PM & CM works.

About the Job

Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of safety regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company standards, proper engineering and technical standards, and safety and environmental requirements.

In this role, you will play a critical part in implementing scheduled maintenance programs, evaluating man-hours and costs, and making recommendations for improvements. Your expertise in contract management, tender management, and maintenance cost optimization will also be invaluable assets to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily general maintenance work orders and coordinate with Maintenance Planning
  • Provide on-the-job supervision to technicians and conduct site inspections
  • Carry out troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks on a day-to-day basis
  • Handle administrative issues related to PM & CM works
  • Implement scheduled maintenance programs and evaluate man-hours and costs
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • At least 10 years of experience in civil and general maintenance in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Deep knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
