Your Responsibilities

  1. As a GIS Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for the installation of high voltage systems worldwide for our clients. You will ensure that all installation work is carried out in perfect technical order, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
  2. You will carry out installation and maintenance work independently, using your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  3. Compliance with installation requirements and instructions is crucial, and you will ensure that all necessary accident prevention measures are observed.
  4. You will be responsible for marking drawings or documents with any changes or modifications that become necessary during the installation.
  5. You will advise our sub-suppliers' installation superintendent on planning and coordination of the workforce necessary to comply with the schedule.
  6. You will cooperate with our Project Manager to establish the status of completed and non-completed work.
  7. You will arrive materials for completeness and check for possible damage, coordinating material handling in cooperation with sub-supplier material control within sub-supplier procedures.
  8. You will issue non-conformance reports for damage or missing equipment within our scope of supply, in cooperation with our Project Manager.
  9. You will supervise final installation tests and our installation completion documentation.
  10. You will supervise and coordinate loop check activities and participate in site meetings as requested by our Project Manager.
  11. You will be responsible for the competent execution of your tasks.
  12. You will carry out any tasks assigned by management necessary to fulfill the job requirements.
  13. You will embody our core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your Background

  1. A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a high diploma is required.
  2. Minimum 8+ years of working experience with GIS is preferred.
  3. Experience with SF6 GAS-Handling is essential.
  4. Knowledge of our GIS product is required.
  5. Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
