About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and revenue for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales and Business Development: Sell products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promote their understanding of oilandgas's complete product/systems/services offering, and align with them to provide a solution.
  3. Customer Experience: Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  4. Sales Planning: Prepare sales plans using oilandgas authorized tools.
  5. Order Management: Perform regular status reviews and propose recovery plan(s), in case of any potential order shortfalls.
  6. Value Creation: Create added value for the customer and oilandgas and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.
  7. Communication: Communicate to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with oilandgas's offering and strategy.
  8. Marketing and Sales: Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate value proposition to customers.
  9. Market Development: Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  10. Administrative Support: Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
  11. Offer Preparation: Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.
  12. Offer Quality: Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical)
  • Experience: 3+ years industry experience / preferably sales and technical supports
  • Industry Knowledge: Cooling tower experience
  • Technical Skills: Motor and VFD knowledge
  • Sales Skills: Industry experience on sales
  • Language Skills: Fluent both in English and Arabic is required
