About the Role

Eram Talent, a leading talent acquisition company, is seeking a highly skilled and NACE certified Corrosion Engineer to join our team. As a Corrosion Engineer, you will play a key role in providing corrosion control solutions to our clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide day-to-day technical support to the Operation and Maintenance team to troubleshoot and fix any corrosion problem.
  2. Develop and review engineering designs packages for new installation and upgrade projects.
  3. Review project proposals and detailed designs packages for new facilities.
  4. Participate in the testing and commissioning of new facilities and Turnaround and Inspection (T&I).
  5. Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
  6. Analyze system performance and find solutions for any corrosion issues.
  7. Ensure quality, cost-effective, and timely solutions to any upgrade.
  8. Test and pilot new technologies.
  9. Ensure full HSE Compliance.
  10. Report and analyze key performance indices.
  11. Make recommendations for technical/economic optimization of existing facilities.
  12. Lead feasibility/profitability studies for new facilities.
  13. Contribute to Business Unit strategy.
  14. Assist in the training, development, and mentoring of younger staff.
  15. Provide analysis, evaluation, and interpretation in support of projects, processes, and financing related to Saudi Aramco capital investment decisions.
  16. Maintain and expand contacts within the industry.
  17. Regularly interact with other professionals in various company organizations involved in capital planning and economic analysis.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering; MS is preferred.
  2. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) license or registration is desirable but not essential.
  3. Having a NACE Certificate is preferred.
  4. At least 10 years of experience in the industrial operation facility; Shale gas facility is preferred.
  5. Good knowledge of Modular skids mounted process unit.
  6. Detailed knowledge of industry standards and procedures to support the review of company standards, project reviews, and implementation of plant modifications.
  7. Experience with welding procedures.
  8. Experience in Metallurgical issues, protective coating, and chemical cleaning.
  9. Experience with Non-Metallic Materials.
  10. Experience in Water management.
  11. Conduct failure analysis and provide recommendations for failed equipment due to corrosion or erosion.
  12. Good experience in dealing with corrosion-related issues.
  13. Capable of communicating with multidiscipline engineers to complete projects.
  14. Proven ability to communicate effectively with management at all levels within the organization.
  15. Capable of spotting and reconciling conflicting views and interests among different parts of the organization.
  16. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  17. Able to communicate complex technical, economic, and commercial concepts in a clear and succinct manner to diverse audiences.
  18. A hands-on person who commands respect from others with long-term practical experience in the industry.
  19. A person whom others at all levels will seek out for advice and counsel.
  20. Able to work effectively with minimum supervision on relatively unstructured tasks.
