Investment Strategy and Fund Management:

  • Developing the strategic vision and investment thesis for the firm's real estate investment funds, ensuring alignment with investor profiles and regulatory requirements
  • Establishing investment guidelines, risk parameters, and return objectives for each fund, in line with investor expectations and regulatory compliance
  • Allocating capital across different real estate asset types, geographies, and investment strategies to optimize risk-adjusted returns and maintain competitiveness
  • Monitoring fund performance and making adjustments to the portfolio as needed to ensure compliance and maximize value

Deal Origination and Execution:

  • Identifying attractive real estate investment opportunities that fit the funds' mandates and meet investor requirements
  • Leading the due diligence and underwriting process, ensuring all deals undergo rigorous financial, operational, and legal analysis to minimize risk
  • Negotiating investment terms, deal structures, and financing arrangements to maximize value for the funds and ensure alignment with investor interests
  • Overseeing the asset management of portfolio properties, including value-enhancement initiatives to drive returns

Investor Relations and Reporting:

  • Communicating regularly with the firm's investors to provide updates on fund performance and strategy, ensuring transparency and alignment with investor expectations

  • Soliciting investor feedback to shape the evolution of the real estate investment funds and ensure they meet investor needs

Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with regulators to remain informed of policy changes and ensure compliance
  • Implementing robust compliance programs to mitigate legal, operational, and reputational risks, ensuring the firm's real estate investment funds operate within regulatory frameworks
  • Collaborating with the firm's legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure all fund activities adhere to applicable rules and regulations

This senior-level role requires extensive experience in real estate investing, deep market knowledge, strong leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment governing pooled investment vehicles. Effective communication, strategic thinking, and a commitment to investor protection are critical for success in this position.

Qualifications:

  • Arabic language proficiency is a must for this role
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Fund management experience is required, with a minimum of 8 years in a similar role
  • CME 4 certification is preferred
