Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Lucy Electric. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the Supply Chain Department and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Planning:
    • Develop and implement material planning strategies to meet business objectives.
    • Manage material requirements planning (MRP) processes to ensure accurate inventory levels.
    • Ensure master data sanctity and accuracy in inventory management.
    • Participate in sales and operations planning (S&OP) to provide quality information on material availability and supply risks.
    • Review and analyze material availability lists to ensure proper action is taken to meet demand.
    • Interact with internal stakeholders to ensure correct and current requirements are met.
    • Provide rolling demand forecasts to suppliers.
    • Plan and manage safety stock, strategic stock, and vendor-managed inventory.
    • Analyze and identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement actions.
    • Monitor supplier performance using on-time-in-full (OTIF) metrics.
    • Implement engineering changes for purchased parts, considering supplier liability, stock on hand, and obsolescence.
    • Work with slow-moving and non-moving parts to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
    • Manage spare parts and component sales.
    • Build and maintain a lean and effective supply chain management team.
  • Warehouse Management:
    • Oversee warehouse operations, including physical and system transactions, to ensure smooth material flow.
    • Manage incoming goods receipt, counting, and put-away to locations.
    • Issue bulk parts daily and weekly based on pick lists.
    • Manage finished goods, including loading units into containers and coordinating with contracts teams.
    • Handle rejected goods transactions and spares packing.
    • Ensure first-in-first-out (FIFO) processing and continuous perpetual inventory counts (PPI) for stock accuracy.
    • Drive continuous improvement projects and build a core team to deliver objectives.
  • Quality Requirements:
    • Address non-conformance reports (NCRs) with vendors and update management.
    • Communicate and track engineering change notices (ECNs).
    • Prepare for and face internal and external quality audits.
  • System Management and Reporting:
    • Provide monthly reports to management on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Training and Development:
    • Analyze and initiate training needs for logistics staff.
  • Health and Safety:
    • Ensure a safe working environment for employees and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines and regulations.
  • General:
    • Perform other duties as required to maintain and improve efficiency, quality, and service.
    • Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of business and staff information.
