About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our Materials Laboratory team at Arab National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

In this role, you will perform various laboratory tests on soil, concrete, aggregate materials, and chemical-related samples according to international standards. You will analyze test results, control nonconforming test results, verify and validate measuring equipment, and ensure the accuracy of records including worksheets and other supplements.

You will implement and follow work instructions in accordance with best quality practices and ensure the efficiency of measuring equipment. Your primary focus will be on verifying and monitoring measuring equipment to accomplish accuracy parameters.

You will also track the initial settings of equipment to avoid any unintended use and prepare equipment inventory and label them to ensure the validity of results. Additionally, you will notify your direct supervisor of maintenance & calibration status and record environmental conditions (humidity & ambient temperature) and other variables that may affect laboratory activities.

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols is essential.
  • Familiarity with lab management software is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are mandatory.
