Key Purpose of the role:

Our company is built on the foundation of people, and we're looking for a skilled HR Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our people strategy and driving business results. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact.

Reporting to:

The General Manager with a dotted line to the Global Head of People

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Execute Local People Strategies: Collaborate with global and local leadership to create departmental and individual goals, and develop and execute local people strategies to align with company goals.
  2. Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning to ensure the right talent is in place to drive business results.
  3. Culture and Engagement: Foster a culture that reflects our values and high employee satisfaction, and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction through various initiatives.
  4. Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with company goals.
  5. HR Advisory: Act as a point of contact/advisor on various HR matters, including performance issues, conflict resolution, and employee development.
  6. HR Systems and Compliance: Oversee all local HR strategy and activities, ensure the proper implementation of HR-related policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Learning and Development: Drive appropriate learning and development initiatives, and develop and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a HR Manager in a hospitality/lifestyle business.
  2. Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 – 7 or similar professional qualification.
  3. Skills: Proven experience in local HR/labour laws and governmental requirements and systems, and strong organizational & project management skills.
