About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our FC Operations team in Amazon MENA. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure our operations run seamlessly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: You will lead a team of operations professionals to achieve business objectives and maintain high levels of quality and productivity.
  2. Process Improvement: You will analyze performance data and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service.
  3. Collaboration: You will work closely with other managers to standardize shift processes and ensure seamless communication across teams.
  4. Operational Excellence: You will maintain safety standards within your team and across your site, and monitor and maintain process efficiency.

A Day in the Life:

You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to prioritize routine team management and daily operational tasks, alongside other tasks like individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning.

As a key part of the operations team, you will work with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we stay on track to meet our customer demands and targets. This will involve analyzing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, as well as discussing the operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree)
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language
  • Relevant experience in performing data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
  • Experience in a logistical working environment
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
