Mace is a delivery partner requiring high-calibre professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each project phase.

The Senior MEP Manager ensures the project is managed safely, effectively, and efficiently while being completed on time and within budget, meeting client objectives.

Responsibilities include managing and overseeing all construction project phases from planning and design to execution and completion, client interface, and technical quality of project-related construction matters.

You will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met, actively interfacing and engaging in the technical design process, and supporting the client's team at a strategic project delivery level.

You will also be responsible for collaborating with design teams and lead design consultants (LDC) to maximise quality and value while minimising risk profile for the project, engaging with stakeholders to understand expectations, and developing health and safety strategies to ensure a safe and healthy environment across the project.

In addition, you will establish and implement policies, standards, and guidelines for modern methods of construction (MMC), contribute to the establishment of the project execution plan, health and safety plan, QA/QC, and other documents as required, maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

Furthermore, you will work collaboratively with the supply chain management and procurement teams to negotiate contracts with suppliers' subcontractors and vendors, maintaining overall responsibility for MEP/AV construction contractor/subcontractor adherence to their respective contracts.

You will also work in collaboration with the planning team contributes to an overarching construction programme for the project, including interfaces, stakeholders, procurement, commercial, and design programmes, reporting and monitoring construction project progress against the schedule and cost plan, and defining project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans required on the project MEP/AV package.

You will assist the construction lead in developing and distributing presentations, and weekly and monthly reporting on all aspects of the project, direct and supervise a team of construction professionals, provide guidance and support, capitalise on extensive knowledge and experience of global innovation in the latest construction methods and materials to meet client sustainability targets, review supervision consultants' recommendation for extension of time or recovery plans to include contractor claims, and ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and maximising opportunities.

You will contribute to the resolution of technical issues on projects and provide technical guidance to other team members, such as technicians, junior engineers, and graduates, and serve as a subject matter expert in MEP/AV elements of the project.

In collaboration with the commercial teams, you will ensure the submission of monthly invoices by the contractors, develop and update the project cash flow forecast, and prepare estimates for variations.

This role requires a relevant degree qualification, chartership or pursuing a similar level of professional qualifications, necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, extensive MEP construction experience, working experience in the MEA region, and influential skills - experience in leading or senior roles on major construction projects.
