We are seeking a skilled Material Scientist to collaborate with our design and engineering teams in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, evaluating, and selecting materials for construction projects, ensuring they meet project specifications, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select construction materials, including concrete, steel, aggregates, and other specialty materials, based on project specifications, performance criteria, and environmental conditions.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance and control procedures to ensure that all materials used on-site meet the required standards, specifications, and codes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the design and construction teams regarding material specifications, performance characteristics, and best practices for material usage.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source and procure materials that meet project requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in construction materials, technologies, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in material engineering, preferably in design development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of material properties, testing methods, and construction industry standards.
  • Experience with quality control procedures and material testing for large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with local and international construction material standards and regulations.
