We require an Operations Strategy Consultant to join our team at Skills Provision. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transportation and logistics management, with extensive experience in fleet management.
The Operations Strategy Consultant will be responsible for leading the daily operational activities of our business unit, including resource management, staff, equipment, transport vehicles, and billing. They will also be accountable for day-to-day liaison with key customer contacts to ensure all queries and expectations are met.
The role requires active participation in the strategic planning of Staff Transport Operations activities and understanding and applying the corporate Vision & Mission statement to overall longer-term strategy. The successful candidate will manage the operational aspects and deadlines, ensuring all internal KPIs are exceeded and reporting is relevant, timely, accurate.
Key responsibilities include managing Human Resources through competency-based recruitment, on-the-job training, and development. The Operations Strategy Consultant will focus on team building, accountability, and discipline in an enabling environment.
To succeed in this role, you must have a degree in Transportation & Logistics management or a related field. You should also have strong planning and organization skills, as well as the ability to communicate and present in both verbal and written English.
