Senior Registrar Radiation Oncologist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registrar Radiation Oncologist to join our esteemed team at the National Blood and Cancer Center. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in a cutting-edge cancer treatment facility.

About the Role:
  • This position involves providing high-quality medical care to patients, covering all duties and responsibilities, while maintaining the highest standards of radiation therapy treatment.
  • The successful candidate will participate in the management of departmental resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • They will also be involved in teaching junior staff, technical staff, and other departmental activities, as well as participating in the planning of further development within the department.
  • In addition, the candidate will oversee regular medical audits, organize prospective studies, and deputize for the Head of Department during leave periods.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Saudi Board or equivalent qualification with more than five years of clinical experience.
  • Competence in the use of radiation therapy in managing solid and hematological malignancies, as well as broad-based experience in anticipating and managing complications related to cancers and radiation therapy.
  • Diverse clinical experience in treating patients with curative or palliative intentions, including whole skin and hemi-body irradiation.
