As a Cloud Operations Strategist, you will help drive the adoption and use of AWS services among our customers. This role requires technical acumen and customer-facing skills to effectively represent AWS within a customer's environment. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, ensuring that your customers' AWS environments remain operationally healthy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, or Platform Engineer. They should understand operational parameters and troubleshooting for four (2) of the following: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Databases / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security / Architecture / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment. External customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences is also essential.

In this role, you will collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers to ensure seamless delivery of value to our customers. With a bias for action, you will proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS, providing detailed reviews of service events, monthly & quarterly metrics, and detailed pre-launch planning.
