We are seeking a Building Contract Administration expert to join CARE's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and preparing bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
You will conduct quantity take-offs, ensuring accurate measurement of materials and works, and evaluate subcontractor quotations for accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
Your key responsibilities will include monitoring project costs, preparing cost reports, and managing variations and claims. You will also perform value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with project teams to address cost-related issues.
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for this position. Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools is also required.
