Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Retail Analyst to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will work within the retail consulting team on retail-related projects across the Middle East and North Africa region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team on client assignments, including market research, data analysis, report execution, presentations, and participation in internal and external meetings.
  • Prepare client pitches, proposals, and reports, showcasing your analytical and presentation skills.
  • Draft, coordinate, and manage the execution of proposals in response to client RFPs or requests.
  • Conduct market research, develop briefs, create financial models, and draft reports to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Attend meetings, which may involve travel, to support ongoing job, workshops, and presentations.
  • Contribute to the successful execution of business development and marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Make active contributions to JLL's public quarterly research reports for the KSA.
  • The role requires knowledge of the retail industry in general and the different market dynamics of GCC countries.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in retail companies (retailers or retail developers) or 'big four' is an advantage.
  • You will be reporting to the retail consulting lead.

Requirements:

  • Proactive and creative with strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize.
  • Bright, intelligent, fast learner, enthusiastic, motivated, and outgoing with honesty and integrity.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Commitment to living and working in Riyadh.
  • Previous technical background in retail, preferably with 2 years' experience.
  • Knowledge of local retailers and developers and how they operate.
  • Relevant degree in finance/economics/business preferred/architecture and design.
  • Good report writing skills in MS Word and ability to prepare succinct PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent understanding of MS Excel and financial modeling.
  • Fluent English and Arabic spoken and written.
