Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Sales Manager position will have a proven track record of success in commercial sales, sponsorships, or business development, with a strong understanding of the esports and gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a commercial sales strategy to drive revenue from sponsorships, partnerships, licensing, and brand activations.
  • Secure high-value brand sponsorships, media rights deals, and advertising opportunities for Vanguard's esports properties.
  • Craft compelling sales proposals and sponsorship packages aligned with brand objectives.
  • Identify and engage with brands, advertisers, and key stakeholders in esports and gaming.
  • Build long-term strategic partnerships with sponsors, media agencies, game publishers, and government entities.
  • Expand Vanguard's commercial footprint in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.
  • Oversee partner and sponsor relationships to ensure successful activation and ROI.
  • Work closely with brands and agencies to develop impactful sponsorship activations.
  • Represent Vanguard at conferences, networking events, and business development meetings.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial sales, sponsorships, or business development, preferably in esports, gaming, events, entertainment, or sports.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value sponsorship and commercial deals.
  • Deep understanding of the Saudi and MENA esports ecosystem, including teams, leagues, digital platforms, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to develop compelling sales strategies and innovative sponsorship activation ideas.
  • Experience working with brands, agencies, and media partners.
  • Strong presentation and proposal writing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
