Job Summary

Penspen is seeking a highly experienced Senior Instrument Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for major oil and gas/petrochemical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement control systems, including DCS experience.
  3. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and instrument personnel.
  4. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures and practices.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrumentation and control technology.
Requirements
  1. At least 12 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, with 6 years in a senior role.
  2. Proven experience in leading teams and managing projects.
  3. Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Computer literate with proficiency in MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical/Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
