About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Site Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an Electrical Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the site manager with electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment across various projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Installation and Commissioning: Support the site manager with electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment across various projects in the region.
  • Sub-Contractor Guidance: Guide and educate sub-contractors with installation best practices.
  • Proposal Support: Support the proposals department with inputs for upcoming projects and share previously learned lessons.
  • Tool and Consumable Coordination: Coordinate with the Construction and Procurement departments to identify the tools and consumables required for the site execution.
  • Electrical Design and Analysis: Analyze the specification and design drawings and other materials needed for the electrical installation as per the approved material submittals.
  • Industrial Control Systems Design: Research, design, develop, and test electrical industrial control systems; create electrical design documents for parts, assemblies, and products.
  • Technical Project Leadership: Be a technical project leader by taking full ownership of deliverables.
  • Quality Management: Manage and ensure that all project quality procedures applicable to design are being followed, enabling all aspects of the project to be achieved towards meeting design needs and ultimate customer satisfaction.
  • Engineering Software Proficiency: Develop knowledge of engineering-based CAD software to complete and modify drawings.
  • Work Package Preparation: Preparation of work packages for the site installation teams.
  • Site Progress Monitoring: Monitoring and reporting of site progress.
  • Quality Support: Supporting the quality team with inspections, closing out snag points and eventual handover to the client.
  • Occupational Health and Safety: Responsible for following occupational health, safety, security, environment and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical installation practices in the Industrial automation domain, specifically in Baggage Handling or Material Handling Systems.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in AutoCAD, REVIT, and ePlan. Hands-on PLC knowledge is an advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to read, understand, and evaluate electrical schematics to identify errors or potential improvements. Strong knowledge of electrical design and installation practices. Effective interpersonal skills, ability to engage internal & external stakeholders, and ability to work in multiple cultural teams.
  • Language: Fluent in English. Arabic or other languages would be an advantage.
