Your Day to Day

As a Human Resources Executive, you will play a critical role in driving business success by developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, managing talent pipelines, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough interviews with candidates to assess their skills and fit for various roles within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, hotel schools, and other external partners to identify top talent.
  • Manage the online recruitment process, ensuring that job postings are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections for schools, colleges, and universities to identify potential talent pools.
  • Coordinate the placement of internal and external advertisements to attract top candidates.
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for turnover and provide feedback to management.
  • Ensure adherence to pre-employment, during-employment, and post-employment checklists.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff and managers are aware of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide information and support to staff and managers on industrial instruments and OH&S policies.
  • Assist managers in developing work practices that align with OH&S policies.
  • Manage the performance management system, including recruitment, induction, training, development, and succession planning.
  • Assist with line staff counseling and career management.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of line managers.
  • Adhere to time frames established by Head Office.
  • Collaborate with the Training Manager to coordinate training programs, including First Aid Courses, OH&S, and Workplace Rehabilitation courses.
  • Issue invitations to attend internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain records of training attendance.
  • Implement orientation programs for new employees.
  • Promote and facilitate cross-training, job rotation, and multi-skilling initiatives.
  • Conduct training sessions for line associates.
  • Conduct departmental skills audits.
  • Develop and implement programs to foster good work relations, such as social clubs and consultative committees.
  • Maintain employee files and administer OH&S workplace cases and rehabilitation programs.
  • Manage database systems and respond to correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement departmental standards and procedures, ensuring ongoing training and implementation.
  • Prepare and administer detailed induction programs for new employees.
  • Provide input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Regularly communicate with staff and maintain good relations.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Knowledge of local labor and employment regulations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent writing skills.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Training, or Business Administration.
Experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
